Reel turns a product or a brief into a ready-to-shoot short video. It writes the scene-by-scene script — hook, beats, on-screen text, narration — and renders it to video. This guide covers making your first reel.
Getting started
Open Reel from your Portal. Give it a product or a short brief describing what you want the video to say. Reel takes it from there.
From brief to video
Script and storyboard
Reel writes a scene-by-scene script: the opening hook, the beats in the middle, the on-screen text, and the narration. You get a storyboard you can review and adjust before rendering.
Rendered video
Once the script is right, Reel renders it to a narrated MP4 ready for short-form social and product UGC.
Optional talking avatar
For a premium touch, Reel offers a talking-avatar lip-sync option so a presenter delivers your script on screen.
Tips
- Keep the brief tight — one clear message per reel beats a crowded one.
- Review the script and storyboard before rendering; that's the cheapest place to make changes.
- Lead with the hook — the first seconds decide whether anyone watches the rest.
Frequently asked
Do I need to write the script myself?
No — Reel writes the full scene-by-scene script from your product or brief. You just review and tweak.
What format do I get out?
A narrated MP4 suited to short-form social, with an optional talking-avatar version.
