Conductor is your single front door to the whole Vastura stack: one chat surface that answers questions about your business, routes each task to the right AI model, and opens the right app. This guide gets you productive in a few minutes.
Signing in
Open your Vastura Portal in any browser and select Conductor. There's nothing to install — Conductor is web-first and works the same on a laptop, tablet, or phone. If you run more than one business, pick the entity you want to work in from the entity switcher before you start; Conductor scopes its answers to whichever entity is active.
What you can ask it
Cross-app questions
Conductor can see your accounting, tickets, projects, and assets in one conversation. Ask things like "show me last quarter's vehicle expenses tagged to a project" or "which support tickets are still open past their SLA" and you get a real answer, not a placeholder.
Let it pick the model
You don't choose a model — Conductor routes each request to the most suitable one and shows you what it picked, why, and what it cost. Just describe the task plainly.
Open the right app
Ask to draft an invoice, file a ticket, or check a project and Conductor opens the relevant app (Ledger, Keystone, Pilot) with the context already loaded.
Tips for better answers
- Be specific: name the entity, project, customer, or tag you mean.
- Ask one thing at a time for complex requests, then build on the result.
- Watch the usage readout — Conductor tells you what each task consumed against your monthly allowance, so there are no surprises.

Where is my data stored?
Your data stays in Canada. Conductor reads your business context to answer questions, but your books and records never leave the platform.
What happens if I hit my usage allowance?
You'll see your usage as you go. If you approach your allowance, Conductor flags it so you can decide how to proceed — nothing is charged without your say-so.
Do I need the other apps to use Conductor?
No. Conductor works on its own, and gets more useful as you add Ledger, Keystone, Pilot, and Launch Pad, because it can then see and act across all of them.
