Vastura started as the working answer to a question: what would happen if a small Canadian business actually ran on the same governance discipline that fortune-500 IT shops swear by? Not the heavy ceremony — the actual operating substance.
The principal's background — 23+ years across CGI federal-government BA + ITIL anchor work, civil-construction project management, and Canadian small-business operations — turned out to be the right kit for the job. Most small businesses can't afford big-agency consulting and don't get accountability from freelancers. Vastura sits in that gap.
Today Vastura runs Vastura Ag on Shopify, is rebuilding Vastura Ltd as the parent storefront, and operates Vastura Digital as the niche where the in-house software products land for outside customers.
The engineering, consulting, and product work all run under a unified ITIL practice — 15-step Change pipeline, formal RFC discipline, monthly continuous-improvement cycles, weekly lessons-learned. Same operating substance we apply to client engagements.
